James Bond's 1965 Aston Martin DB5 Is On Sale For £3m

A 1965 Aston Martin DB5 built for the James Bond film franchise was today put up for sale for a staggering £3million. The British sports car firm only made four DB5s for the 007 movies Goldfinger and Thunderball which starred Sean Connery as the super-suave spy.

And this classic model is one of only two of the four originals to be fully kitted out with all of Q Branch's famous gadgets including imitation machine guns, revolving number plates and even the tyre-slicing device.

Rare $1.7m Aston Martin One-77 Crashed -- Sydney Morning Herald

One of just 77 supercars built by British brand wrecked in Hong Kong.

The ultra-rare Aston Martin One-77 is now even rarer following reports of a high-speed crash involving one of the British-built supercars in Hong Kong.

An image posted on Chinese site weibo.com shows the aftermath of the crash, with the car sitting on the back of a low loader truck. Only one image has been seen of the wrecked car so far.

The sold-out limited production One-77 - there were only 77 cars built (hence the name) - is regarded as one of the most sought after – and expensive – supercars on earth.

A rare Aston Martin has sold for £1.23million in a record-breaking group sale of the classic cars that made more than £6million.

In an annual auction at Aston Martin works, 46 classic cars were sold, fetching a staggering record breaking total of £6.5million.

The 13th sale of its type was held at the Aston Martin restoration shop on the site of the company's old Newport Pagnell workshop, in Buckinghamshire, attracting a record crowd of 2,000 bidders and enthusiasts.

An Aston Martin sports car used by Prince Charles for 14 years is set to fetch up to £70,000 at auction.

The 1994 Virage Volante 6.3-litre convertible is going under the hammer at auctioneers Bonhams on May 19.

Described by Fast Lane magazine as the 'most aristocratic of convertibles', the soft-top has attracted a pre-sale estimate of between £50,000 and £70,000.
